“Quixadá was the stage for great ideas and strategies for Sertão Central.”

The 2th edition of the Fórum de Desenvolvimento Econômico brought together leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts to reflect on, debate, and design the future of our region. Held on July 22, 2026, at Hotel Vale das Pedras, in Quixadá, the event addressed crucial topics that directly impact our territory's business ecosystem.

With a packed auditorium, the Forum began in the morning with credentialing and a welcome coffee, followed by the official opening, which brought together authorities, partner institutions, and representatives of the regional productive sector.

The Painel Transnordestina, with Ricardo Silveira and Alex Trevisan, presented the logistics and economic impacts of the railway for Sertão Central, reinforcing the connection between infrastructure, investment attraction, and the agenda for the Sertão Central Dry Port.

Next, Alci Porto (Sebrae Ceará) led the discussion on the role of small businesses in regional development, and Andreia Libório (UFC Quixadá) presented the panel Technology, Innovation and Future, highlighting the innovation ecosystem under construction in the region.

In the afternoon, the Connecting Opportunities panel brought together ADECE, ADR Sertão Central, and ADR Sol do Leste around interregional cooperation. Allana Queiroz (Queiroz & Macário) addressed Government Procurement and Contrata+ Brasil, and Jonathan Roberto (JR Consultoria & Contabilidade) addressed the effects of the Tax Reform on companies in the territory, before the official closing.
