“A new identity to represent an even greater vision of the future for Sertão Central.”

The transformation of ADESCC into ADR Sertão Central symbolizes the institutional evolution of a trajectory built collectively, strengthening the commitment to regional integration, innovation, territorial governance, and the sustainable development of Sertão Central Cearense.

The history of regional integration in the Sertão Central Cearense entered a new phase this Wednesday, during the General Assembly held in Senador Pompeu, moments before the holding of the II Seminário Conectando o Sertão — the first seminar of the itinerant phase of the Jornada Conectando o Sertão.

By resolution of the members, the entity's new institutional identity was approved, officially adopting the denomination ADR Sertão Central – Agência de Desenvolvimento Regional do Sertão Central.

The decision represents much more than a change of name or logo. It symbolizes the natural evolution of an institution that has matured, expanded its territorial reach, and consolidated its role as an articulator of regional development.

Throughout its trajectory, ADESCC has become a benchmark in mobilizing leadership, building strategic agendas, bridging municipalities, institutions, and the productive sector, and promoting initiatives aimed at strengthening the region economically and socially. With its new identity, the institution reinforces its regional vocation and its articulation capacity in an environment that is increasingly integrated, dynamic, and connected to the challenges of the future.

The ADR Sertão Central brand is born aligned with the Agenda Sertão Central 2033 and reflects a modern vision of regional development based on inter-municipal cooperation, strengthening territorial governance, innovation, sustainability, and attracting opportunities for the entire region.

The approval of the new identity took place at a symbolic moment, during the opening of another stage of the Jornada Conectando o Sertão, a movement that has been mobilizing public managers, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, community leaders, and civil society organizations around a shared future project for Sertão Central Cearense.

ADESCC is not ending a story; it is inaugurating a new stage in its own evolution.

More than a new brand, ADR Sertão Central represents a new institutional level, maintaining the same principles, values, and commitments that guided its trajectory, now strengthened by an identity even more aligned with the regional dimension that the institution has achieved over the years.

Sertão Central is changing. Evolving. Integrating.

And ADR Sertão Central is born to lead this new stage.
