On the morning of this Thursday, April 30, 2026, ADESCC took part, in Maracanaú, in a technical visit coordinated by SEBRAE to Instituto de Tecnologia SESI SENAI Professor Ariosto Holanda. The delegation was composed of representatives from FATEC Quixeramobim, UFC — Campus Quixadá, Unicatólica, the Secretariat of Economic Development (SDE) of the Municipality of Quixeramobim, and the municipal executive branch of Quixadá. During the visit, we explored the complete facility of the Institute — a national benchmark in applied research, technological development, and specialized technical service provision for industry. SESI SENAI operates in strategic areas such as Food Technology, Mechanical Technology, Automation and Electronics, Information and Communication Technology, Materials, and Metrology, offering R&D solutions, laboratory testing, prototyping, technical training, and innovation consultancy. Technologies developed by the Institute itself were presented — such as the ELMO Helmet (non-invasive ventilation), Retina Fácil, and Face Shield — concrete examples of the innovation potential that can be accessed by Sertão Central of Ceará. For ADESCC, building closer ties with SESI SENAI represents a strategic opportunity to connect our region to a robust industrial technology ecosystem, strengthening the Agribusiness (with emphasis on Food Technology), Industry, and Technology & Innovation axes outlined in Agenda do Sertão Central. We continue coordinating partnerships so that this potential reaches companies, educational institutions, and rural producers in our region.
